Guidelines for Interviewees

Thank you for agreeing to participate in our documentary. We are looking forward to capturing your insights and experiences. To ensure a smooth filming process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Dress Code:
    • Please wear dark, solid-colored clothing that is formal or semi-formal. Avoid any green or blue clothes, as these colors can cause issues with filming technology and background setups.
    • Patterns, especially small ones, can distort on camera, so plain fabrics are preferred.
  2. Timing of Answers:
    • For each question, please keep your answers concise, aiming for 1-2 minutes per response. This will help us maintain a steady pace and fit within our planned episode runtime.
  3. Cell Phones and Devices:
    • Ensure your cell phone is turned off or set to silent mode during the interview to avoid interruptions.
  4. Arrival Time:
    • Please arrive at Sanj Studios at the scheduled time. Arriving on time is crucial for maintaining the filming schedule. If you are unfamiliar with the location or need directions, feel free to contact us beforehand.
  5. Pre-Interview Preparation:
    • It might be helpful to think about your answers to some common questions beforehand, but there’s no need to memorize responses. We’re looking for natural and spontaneous answers.
  6. Posture and Presence:
    • During the interview, try to maintain good posture and eye contact with the interviewer. This not only enhances your appearance on camera but also helps engage the audience.
  7. Speaking Clearly:
    • Speak clearly and at a moderate pace to ensure the audience understands you, and our microphones pick up high-quality audio.
  8. Handling Nerves:
    • It’s completely natural to feel a bit nervous. Take a moment to breathe and settle in before we begin filming. Our team will work with you to make the process as comfortable as possible.

We appreciate your cooperation and are excited to include your voice in this important project. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Looking forward to a successful interview!

Content Review and Conduct Expectations

To maintain the integrity and smooth production of our documentary, please be aware of the following points regarding content review and interview conduct:

  1. Finality of Content:
    • Once your interview is recorded, it will be sent for editing where a large team of editors and content managers will review the footage. Due to the volume of material and the complexity of the editing process, it is not feasible to make edits or changes to the content once it has been submitted for post-production. Please consider your responses carefully during the interview.
  2. Conduct During the Interview:
    • We strive to create content that is respectful and considerate of all viewers. Please refrain from criticising individuals, groups, or political entities in a manner that could be seen as offensive or divisive.
    • Additionally, avoid statements that might politicize the issues we are discussing unless it is directly relevant to the question and discussed in a constructive manner.
    • Our goal is to foster a thoughtful, inclusive dialogue that contributes positively to the understanding of mental health challenges.

By adhering to these guidelines, you help us ensure that the documentary remains a productive and respectful space for discussing sensitive topics. We value your contributions and are committed to creating a high-quality, impactful piece that respects all perspectives.
